Ride for Refuge is a fun fundraising event in which Bethel’s team members walk or ride their bicycles, or fulfil a personal challenge such as memorizing Scripture. Bethel’s team is called Bethel in Gear for Doro and l’Arche. Funds are raised by team members requesting to be supported by donors. We are raising funds for the SIM Doro Clinic in South Sudan and for an orphanage in Haiti called, l’Arche. Personal challenges can be begun at any time (such as walking or riding etc) but on October 5 we all come together to finish our challenge together by walking or riding and celebrating afterwards with a meal.
