DESCRIPTION:We want to invite you to our C&amp\;C spring retreat that wi
 ll be happening at the beautiful mountain-top retreat center in the Laur
 entians.  You'll be inspired by nature\, friends\, fellowship\, fun\, foo
 d and challenging spiritual teachings.  Register ASAP at C&amp\;C Ret

 :   weekend of May 22-24\, 2026\nPlace:    Camp de la Montagne\, Amh
 erst\, Quebec\n\nTheme:  Temptation - Called to Conquer\n\nThere is a ca
 ll to conquer sin\, a call that comes from outside of us\, from the very S
 pirit of God.  We shall explore together what it means to walk by the Spi
 rit\, so that we will not give in to the temptations to gratify the desire
 s of our flesh.   We'll also spend time focusing on prayer -- tapping in
 to our source of help and strength.\n\nSpeaker:  Tommy Malone\, Elder at
  Bethel\n\nActivities\, eating\, gatherings\, etc:\n\n- There is a privat
 e lake with kayaks\, fields for sports and trails for walking.  There wil
 l be free time and a fun organized group event.\n- There is a sitting area
  by a fireplace with a gorgeous view over the lake below\, in case we choo
 se to spend time indoors.\n- Everyone will be part of a meal crew so be pr
 epared to pitch in.\n\n- We'll have four gatherings with singing\, challen
 ging teaching and opportunities to discuss\n\n- We also plan to make time 
 for prayer - both personal and in small groups - giving an opportunity to 
 share requests and to grow in our spiritual walk\n\nWho's invited:\n\n- Th
 e retreat is targeted to the college &amp\; career group (i.e. young adu
 lts)\, typically aged 17-30.\n- Those graduating from high school this yea
 r are also welcome to join\, in anticipation of their entry into this coho
 rt\n\n- The event is not limited to Bethel attendees.  It is extended to 
 friends\, classmates and colleagues including those from other Montreal ar
 ea churches.\n\nTransportation:\n\n\nWe will endeavour to coordinate tran
 sportation\, with meeting-spots at Bethel and in Rigaud.\n\n\nPrice:\n\nTh
 e last minute price is $60.\nThese affordable rates are thanks to the gene
