ASMICK AND SUSAN JEAN-JACQUES

While he was living in darkness raising hell around him, Asmick met Christ on his own road to Damascus. This event transformed him. It was May 18 2002 in a prison cell. From then on, he developed a passion and love for others, specially the youth. Asmick has been on a mission to impact the world with the good news of the gospel through proclamation and actions.

Asmick Jean-Jacques has been employed by MYU since 2007. He is the director of La Corde youth center. Situated in the Cloverdale community, La Corde serves the children and families through diverse programs. (Nutrition, after school homework assistance, mentoring etc). Over the years hundreds of lives have been shaped by this ministry.

Asmick is the Pastor of Centre Évangélique Des Nations Church. He is also the Co-founder of l’Arche Orphanage located in Haiti. A man with strong conviction, a well-known leader in the city, a tool for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

He is married to the love of his youth, Susan Wilson and they have seven children, as well as many other children that they consider their own.
